IBSC 2021 CLOSING REMARKS
Dear Participants of the IBSC2021, Colleagues and Friends,
We are delighted to announce the concluding remarks of the 8th Joint International PSU-UNS Bioscience Conference – IBSC 2021, held online on 25-26 November 2021.
We are extremely pleased that the conference was well attended: 176 scientists, young researchers, experts and enthusiasts from 17 countries eagerly shared their state-of-the-art results in the field of biosciences, with a focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Special emphasis was given to environmental impact on the biodiversity and eco-physiology of the living organisms, biochemistry and biomedicine, natural resources of bioactive compounds and sustainable agri-food, along with other related disciplines and topics. Despite the virtual conference setting, we are convinced that it served well as a platform for networking and new collaborations.
We proudly report that the conference scientific program throughout the four conference tracks was brilliantly enriched with the excellent content delivered by 25 respectable invited speakers from ten different countries along with 25 oral presentations and 119 posters!
We are honoured to have presented 7 outstanding plenary speakers from the UK, Thailand, Hungary, Ireland, Spain, Italy and Serbia, whose memorable lectures brought truly cutting edge scientific results and stirred considerable attention.
Depending on the scientific field, the submitted papers were divided into 4 conference tracks:
- – Biology and Environment (54)
- – Biotechnology and Bioengineering (24)
- – Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine (60)
- – Agri-food and Biosensing (31)
Videos of our memorable Plenary Lectures are available HERE.
The revised edition of the Book of Abstracts is available HERE.
Certificates of Attendance are available on request. Should you wish to receive one, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to all of you for your continuous interest in international bioscience conferences organized jointly by the Prince of Songkla University and the University of Novi Sad. We promise you even more challenging and timely topics for the IBSC2023, which will, hopefully, gather us together again in Thailand!
We wish you excellent health, a lot of energy, enthusiasm, resilience, and brilliant ideas to work on resolving the grand scientific challenges!
